Shop Local aims to encourage support for local businesses, raise awareness of the importance of local shopping and highlight the positive effects it has on our neighbourhoods.

Held this year in Oakville, Ontario, Shop Local is taking place on the weekend of February 9 & 10, 2013. Over 100 businesses in the Downtown Oakville area will be offering deals or savings exclusive to the event.

You can show your support for neighbourhood merchants by saving one planned purchase for the Shop Local weekend and take advantage of great deals and savings at your local stores. Spread the word and go with a friend.
